10 days Game Jam Theme: Out of Time

We interpret this theme as Pressure building up over Time. There is the physical and mental pressure. And to release it makes the player feel secure and safe. We think the fart mechanic is interesting concept because it saves you and kills you if you don't manage it well in different terrain situations. A double edge sword.

Butt we ran out of time... LMAOO. 

{Scrapped asset and Ideas]

-We couldn't figure out how to make animation transitions in Godot...Damn ):
wish we could use my jump, inflate, deflate, look up and down animations that I spent 2 days working on. [Check Screenshot as gif]  -Beeean

-When the frog inflate at 60%+ the player could feel the physical change to the frog's body. Inflate animation. Making the frog move very slow.  Intense build up sound effect like alert alert alert with a vignette that Warns the player they are about to blow up.

-Could've implemented more terrain obstacles that interacts with fart. Like tall grass for stealth, fire that lits the fart, spiderweb that prevents the player from farting (has to shake off using < >, etc.

-Our bigger plan was to have one big giant bird that chases the player across the map to have a Big Threat that pressures the player to move right. We thought of a sound detection mechanic that increases the sound value when the player fart. When the sound value hits a certain thread hold. The giant bird comes over and scans the area moving it's head left and right. Something out of Little Nightmares which is a big inspiration. The only way to decrease the Search is to hide inside a bush which are safe areas. But your gas builds up if you don't fart. So the player would have to manage that. [Check Screenshot]

-Lily Pad that drops the player by standing for too long. Like Minecraft drip leaf.

-Froggie goes to space :^) like Getting Over It
